Here is the story of what really happened.  The owners of  http://www.stockpicksecret.com desperately want you to think the system they are selling was written by Ed Burke, the gentleman who won the CNBC contest in 2008.  The book was not written by Ed Burke at all.  It was written by Frank Bunn Jr.  as one of the co-founders of Big Wednesday Capital Management, LLC.  After some good success with marketing the book, we were approached by Jeff Alderson, an Internet guerrilla marketer.  He proposed that we have him market the book to achieve even greater sales.  The partners agreed and Frank decided to beef up the content with video tutorials.  All well and good.  After doing this however, Frank started to get greedy and decided he was going to edge his partner in the project out so he could keep all the money.  All of which is illegal of course.   He stole the jointly developed concept and ran with it to Jeff Alderson.  They started to sell it on www.stockpicksecret.comand were mildly successful until recently when a DMCA violation was claimed against them.  The site is currently down.  So, here is the original book for free.  Enjoy, make money if you can, if not, enjoy the reading.  The system does work if you can implement.  That is the key.  You have to implement.

Frank Bunn Jr. and Jeff Alderson took the concept and wrapped a bunch of video tutorials around it and are charging you $99.00 for something that was not developed by Ed Burke.  Ed Burke has never made a real dime trading the stock market.  The people who are selling this system are simply taking advantage of you.  It is not worth a dime of your time.

A friendly word to the wise…

2008 “CNBC Million Dollar Portfolio Challenge” – Ed Burke?  Or was it Frank Bunn Jr.?  Who really generated the stock picks for the contest?  Did he really win the Forex section using the system or did he discover a glitch in the CNBC contest software that allowed him to place Forex orders faster than humanly possible?  Ask yourself if any of the things that were done to win a contest could actually be implemented in real time.  Thousands of traders have tried and failed for one reason.  Real time is significantly different than paper or simulated trading.  You can’t sit around all day simulating trading and then call it a success when not a dime from trading was made in over two years.  In fact fees and bad choices bleed an account dry if you do that.

If you never implement, you will never make a dime.

Then why isn’t Ed Burke or Frank Bunn trading real time?  Why are they trying to sell ebooks and video tutorials instead of making the tons of money they claim they can make using this system?
